The right to healthcare for everyone in every part of the world and the right to be born healthy and free of preventable disease are the two overarching themes that inspire the work of IMAGINE.
In following these objectives, IMAGINE consolidates and harnesses the active participation and collaboration of various local partners throughout all phases of project development, in tune with the needs of the communities in which IMAGINE works, with special consideration for sustainability.
The principal methods of intervention are: prevention campaigns, promotion of maternal-infant health, promotion of the fundamental rights and struggle against the exclusion and marginalization of the most vulnerable in society.
The priorities are:
  • Make prevention and treatment accessible in all parts of the world;
  • Contribute to increase the sustainability of healthcare services in developing countries;
  • Coordinate and participate in treatment campaigns against various infectious diseases that still afflict hundreds of millions of people in developing countries;
  • Participate in international cooperation programs via research and clinical activities;
  • Support reflection and the ethical debate regarding the social responsibility and healthcare by increasing public awareness;
  • Implement health education and informational programs regarding the risks of the most serious infectious diseases.
